There has long been speculation about the possibility of a terrorist attack in Brazil, especially with the country hosting the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games. But the tweet appears to be an isolated incident meant to inspire fear, and unlike European countries targeted by the Islamic State, Brazil's few Muslims are for the most part well-integrated into society. Moreover, despite the warning, Brazilian authorities have not found any evidence of radical imams or mosques that could provide the material or logistical support for a large attack.
