Mexican Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Meade Kuribrena is to make an official visit to Turkey on Saturday.
Kuribrena is expected to discuss bilateral relations and regional and international developments with his Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoğlu, in a bid to prepare the ground for Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto's visit in September.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Friday said Turkey is looking at further cooperation in many areas with Mexico, which Turkey sees as an important partner for its entry into the Latin American market.
